C - COLOURFUL
Be Colourful! Everyone can wear colour - refer to your colour palette when you shop for items to ensure that you wearing the shade of colour than best enhances your skin tone. Most of us can wear blue but it is the shade of blue that flatters your skin tone the most which is the shade of that colour that you should be wearing. Always remember to keep the flattering colour near to your neckline which will reflect and enhance your face and complexion. You can wear other colours on the lower part of your body but ensure that you keep the neck area with your colour palette. Everyone loves to wear black as they often feel it slims them - however black is not the most flattering colour for all seasons and in fact only Winters can truly wear black next to their complexion. It doesn't mean you can't wear black but if you wear black near to your face drape a scarf containing your flattering colours around you neck so that is what is being reflected onto your skin tone rather than the harshness of black.

Co-ordinate - mix and match your colours - take inspiration from nature as to what looks good together - you will be amazed at the colour matching choices it provides you with. If you are wearing a block colour dress - bring in another colour with your choice of handbag, shoes or hat. Even your costume jewellery is great for this and brings outfits alive.

Create - new looks by experimenting with putting items from your wardrobe together that you may not have considered before and you will be amazed at how many more outfits you will find you have in your collection! Don't be afraid to try things - once upon a time it was considered that blue and green should never be seen together but they can look amazing with the right shades. Layer your items to include colour in a small way if you are a little unsure of wearing a lot of colour. Also try different patterns together - as they can look fantastic with the separation of the two by a really funky belt but give you a really statement outfit that is your creation.
Black & white outifts can often be teamed with very vibrant colours such as cerise pink and lime green to really make the outfit sing - it really is just about giving it a try and you will be amazed at what you can create.
