Hi and Welcome to Lady M
No matter where you are in the world you can always find beautiful clothes that can be bought on a budget. This is undoubtedly my favourite type of shopping - anyone can go into a designer store and buy an amazing outfit when they have an unlimited amount of $$$ to spend. However putting together an outfit bought on a budget is a fashionista's real test as it is down to your own individual sense of style, be it chic or quirky, and how you put things together as well as having that real eye for a bargain. I have been doing this for years but only in the last year have I realised that it is indeed my passion and that it is time to do something fun with it which I hope will be of encouragement and help to others and indeed our world. Each one of us who recycles and up-cycles clothing is an enivronmentally green queen for our beautiful planet so don't let snooty folk make you feel anything less than great for what you are doing and wearing!! Now let me introduce you to my fabulous mannequin and model for all my lovely finds - the gorgeous 'Maisie'!
Meet 'Maisie'
Maisie was rescued from a quirky little arts shop in Kawakawa - an arty small New Zealand town in the stunning Bay of Islands famous for the Hunderwasser public conveniences! Maisie was in a neglected state having been relegated to the back of the shop to gather dust. However she is now restored and back to her full fashion focus modelling clothes on ChicThreadz (link to my sale site) and helping New Zealand fashionistas find affordable stylish clothes and see different ways to wear and accessorise them. A lot of ChicThreadz listings focus on the curvier girls who may not have as much choice available to them where they live and the right kind of advice provided when shopping as to what looks good on their curvier bodies. I hope Maisie & Lady M provides inspiration for how you can look great in lots of styles and in bold colours with great accessorising.
